Avoid another pill and try these natural cures for a headache the next time your head starts throbbing:

  1. Peppermint Oil

Combine three drops of peppermint oil with a tablespoon of water and rub the mixture along the hairline and under nose.  The scent of peppermint is a natural brain stimulant and can alter blood flow.  The pain should dissipate in about 20 minutes.

  1. Hot Water

Soak your feet in hot water until the water cools.  The heat opens up blood vessels and relieves restrictions in blood flow for better circulation.
